The Backstory

This is *not* an autobiography, so (fortunately for you), I won’t start at the very beginning. I’ll skip the first 30-odd years. This whole ‘audio thing’ started not too long after I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior, so He gets the credit for anything good that happens after that point.

I started attending (Calvary Christian Church f/k/a Calvary Temple Assembly of God) with my wife and young children. Soon after, looking to serve the Lord, I joined the worship team. Initially, as a back-up vocalist (yes, after 15 years in a Polish choir, it was a joy to sing English! Lol). During that time, I got back to playing bass guitar, which I put away over a decade earlier after a few years playing to LPs & jamming with a couple garage bands that never even had a name. Call it re-learning or sharpening my skills, at least now I had a purpose. Eventually, I got to play on this amazing worship team. After several months, we were really ‘tight’ (musicians’ term for ‘capital G - Good’). It just kept getting better and better…

So, at some point in the late 1990’s, my worship leader at the time (David Stapp, this is all your doing), semi-volunteered me to head up the ‘sound team’, as there was a vacancy that needed to be filled. I guess I was the only candidate with sufficient “geek” to fill the slot. Hit >> (fast-forward) here, because you likely read the previous page.
