…The Rest of the Story
…Since “Calvary” (by either name) was growing exponentially during this time, ‘they’ seemed to be the alleged source for ‘answers’ that several smaller (and not so small) local (and nor so local) churches had. Let’s be clear- I’m talking about church tech here, not theology! The ‘how do you guys deal with this’, ‘my wireless mics are noisy’, ‘who do you use for ___’, ‘we can’t afford (contractor X)’, ‘do you know anybody that can ___’. At some point, Calvary’s staff trusted me enough to provide some answers (or direction, at the least). God opened a door, and so was born the concept of Upright.
A few years pass of ‘doing this’ on the side. Covid slammed the (source & supply) door on a big project for me, but God had a bigger plan. So, I trusted Him, jumped in the deep end, and started an LLC in the middle of the pandemic. (wait- what?) Yup. All the right supply connections got made, and dealer accounts, tax forms, etc. It all just clicked (ok, except for Covid related supply chain delays), but-
He IS faithful. That deserves its own bullet. But let’s wrap this up-
Because there is a need - though it be maybe a tiny, insignificant (= unprofitable to larger contractors) ‘niche market’ that we can meet the needs of, the unique capabilities of Upright Audio Solutions can be a blessing to you, as your valued business can be a blessing to us, and allow us both to continue ‘doing what we do’, just better.
